The blue whale is the largest animal on the planet, weighing up to 150 tons and measuring up to 90 feet long. It was believed that their heart only beats eight to 10 times per minute. But that was disproven in 2019. A team of scientists from Stanford literally suction cupped an electrocardiogram to the side of a whale, and the results were amazing.
